Noordscheschut- Het Kampbossie
Een bosje wat zijn naam dankt aan het vroegere woonwagenkamp wat hiernaast gelegen was. Strak langs de A37, een populaire uitlaatplek voor bewoners rondom.
De auto parkeer je aan de Coevorderstraatweg. Er is gelegenheid voor het parkeren van ongeveer 3 tot 4 auto's. Je moet vervolgens eerst een pad af wandelen voordat je in het bos terrecht komt. Dit pad is tevens afgezet doormiddel van een slagboom.
In de tijd dat ik deze foto's gemaakt heb, medio september 2023, was er net flink huisgehouden in het bos. Er was veel gekapt en de zware machines hadden diepe sporen getrokken in de paden. Desalniettemin blijft het een leuke route. De bospaden worden afgewisseld met kleine meertjes. Ook loopt er naast het wandelpad een klein slootje.
Deze sloot zat barstensvol met kikker- en paddendril. Deze dieren zijn dus groot fan van dit bos.
Hoewel de route leuk is, kom je hier niet voor je rust. Een groot deel loopt namenlijk strak langs de A37. Dermate strak dat je de mensen bijna kan herkennen in hun auto's. Er zit een stuk gaas tussen het pad en de snelweg, maar indien je hond snel schrikt, adviseer ik wel om hem hier aangelijnd te houden.
Daarnaast zal je hier ook snel andere mensen tegenkomen. Dit omdat het bosje op een kleine afstand ligt van nabijgelegen dorpen.
