Wachtum - Bosje langs de oude Geserweg
Een naaldbossen omringt door oude eiken. Het geraas van auto's en het gemis van wandelpaden.
Uit pure interesse ben ik eens gaan kijken naar het bosje aan de oude Geserweg. Ik parkeer de auto en loop een pad naar achteren. Dit pad blijkt helaas enkel voor de boeren te zijn. Er is namenlijk geen pad welke het bos in loopt.
Het gebrek aan een pad houd ons natuurlijk niet tegen, en we struinen door de bossages geen. Langs ons loopt op een 100 meter afstand de snelweg. Je komt hier niet voor je rust.
We lopen een ronde langs de rand van het bosje. Al met al zijn we een goed kwartier onderweg. Hoewel er geen paden zijn, liggen er wel speuren van grote bosbouwmachines. Deze zorgen ervoor dat het wandelen toch nog prima.
Omdat ik de plek niet kende en omdat het zo dicht aan de snelweg is, hield ik de hond aan de lijn.
Na een ronde gemaakt te hebben waren we weer terug bij de auto. Leuk om nu te weten hoe dit plekje eruit ziet, maar hier zullen we niet snel weer komen voor een wandeling.
